Arrival
By car:
You can easily reach Wagrain via the Tauern Autobahn (A10), Flachau exit (Exit 66). From there, simply follow the signs to Wagrain. The Steinerwirt is located right in the village center. Feel free to use the short-term parking zone in front of our building while we handle your check-in.
By public transport:
The nearest train station is in St. Johann im Pongau.
From there you can easily reach us in Wagrain by bus line 530 (bus stop approx. 50 m from the hotel) or by taxi.
Don't forget: The Mobility Ticket is valid from your arrival day and allows you to use all public transport throughout SalzburgerLand free of charge. Please contact us in advance so we can send you the ticket before your arrival.
By plane:
The nearest airport is Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Airport Salzburg.
From there you can easily reach Wagrain by public transport, a shuttle service or a rental car.
Shared transfers are offered by Huber Reisen ( www.taxihuber.at ). If you prefer a private transfer, we recommend Taxi AV ( www.taxi-av.at ).

Arrival and departure times (check-in & check-out)
Check-in: from 2 pm; if you plan to arrive after 6 pm, please let us know. If you have booked half-board and your arrival is later than 8 pm, we kindly ask you to eat on the go; dinner will, of course, be deducted from your bill. Late arrivals are only possible by prior arrangement! Check-out: we kindly ask you to vacate your room by 10 am at the latest.
You are welcome to leave your luggage with us by prior arrangement.
pay
Please settle your bill no later than the day before your departure, either in cash or by debit/credit card (Visa, Mastercard). Alternatively, a bank transfer is also possible – please ask for our bank details. For bank transfers, please ensure timely processing so that the amount arrives in our account before your departure.
Breakfast
Our extensive breakfast buffet is available daily from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the restaurant on the ground floor. If you are departing before breakfast, please inform us in advance – you are welcome to prepare a packed lunch from the buffet the day before and store it in the guest refrigerator.
Restaurant / Dinner
During the winter months, we serve dinner between 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM. Please note that our restaurant closes at 11:00 PM. We take one day off per week – you will be informed of the exact day upon your arrival.
As a small family-run business, we always strive to provide all services as promised. However, should changes occur due to illness and half-board exceptionally be omitted, you will of course receive a corresponding refund on site.
Self-service bar
On the ground floor, you will find a drinks fridge available 24/7, as well as coffee and tea making facilities. Please note down any drinks consumed on the provided list. These will be billed together with your room bill. A price list is also available.
Room cleaning
Rooms are cleaned six times a week. Under the motto "Think Green," you can opt out of cleaning if you wish – please use the corresponding door sign to indicate this.

Cancellation policy
Even if you are already looking forward to your vacation, unfortunately something unexpected can always happen.
Cancellations are subject to the General Terms and Conditions of the Hotel Industry ( http://www.hotelverband.at/down/AGBH_061115.pdf )
You can cancel free of charge up to 3 months before arrival.
For cancellations made between 3 months and 1 month before arrival, we charge 40% of the travel price.
From 1 month to 1 week before arrival, the cancellation fee is 70% of the travel price.
For cancellations within the last week before arrival, we will charge you 90% of the travel price; for early departure, 100%.
To save you unnecessary costs in the event of cancellation and mountain rescue (including helicopter rescue), we recommend that you protect yourself with the Hotel Cancellation Plus or the comprehensive Hotel Cancellation Premium insurance.
